- Parents with children at school (resident children must be aged 6 or over)
- Semi-retired or retired people
- People who are over 21 years of age, to comply with the requirements of our insurance provider
- People who work from home or are at home for most of the day (if dog home boarding)

- Submit a police and reference check
- Complete a pet first aid course
- Undergo training as required
- Demonstrate confident communication skills and customer service
- Have a reliable mobile phone and internet access
- Use our online booking and scheduling system to manage your diary and update clients and TPC staff when you accept and complete your bookings
- Be physically able to walk for a few hours a day if dog walking – you’ll be clocking up the steps on your Fitbit or pedometer!
- Have a valid driving license and own or have access to a road-worthy car that is suitable for transporting dogs.
- Get a licence from the local council if dog home boarding
- Maintain a secure garden (non-communal) if dog home boarding
- Ensure resident pets are neutered and welcoming of new friends if dog home boarding
- Own a home or have landlords/owners permission to run a business from home, if dog home boarding
